12:00pm - Bristol Military Wives Choir (Bandstand)

12:45pm - Association of Crown Forces 1776 Re-enactment Group (Arena)

1:30pm - Sunflower Dance Group (Bandstand)

2:00pm - Children's Tea Party (RSVP only)

2:15pm - Cadet Drill Display (Arena)

2:30pm - V-DUBZ band (Bandstand)

15:15pm - Association of Crown Forces 1776 Re-enactment Group (Arena)

4:00pm - Event closes

There will be fairground attractions, military vehicles, charity stalls and other trade stands as well as great local music!

Where possible, please try and walk to the event or use public transport to help our neighbours and emergency vehicles.

How to get to our event?

Bus

We are delighted that First Bus will be offering free bus travel* to the Armed Forces community on Saturday 20th June 2026 to celebrate and support Armed Forces Day.

They are showing their appreciation to the Armed Forces community, serving troops, veterans and cadets by providing free travel* across their bus network on Armed Forces Day.

Current and former members of the military can travel for free* if they are:

  • Members of the Armed Forces in uniform or wearing medals

  • Members of the Armed Forces who present a valid identification card

  • Members of the Cadet Forces in uniform

  • A veteran displaying valid identification such as the MOD-issued Veteran’s Badge or wearing medals

We hope the free travel will help those attending South Glos Armed Forces Day.

If you're a serving member of the Armed Forces, veteran or cadet, come and enjoy free travel* with First Bus!

*Please note free travel is not available on Airport Flyer or special event services.

Car

 

There are several car parks around the area, listed in the map below.

More information, including where Blue Badge holders can access spaces can be found here.

There are no parking restrictions in place, other than a rolling road closure on Page Road, High Street and Broad Street between 1015 and 1030. There will be no vehicle movements on these roads during this time. Please be respectful to our security personnel. 

We do however ask drivers to be respectful of our neighbours and not to block driveways and walk or use public transport where possible.

Taking Part in the Parade?

Standard Bearers, Serving Personnel, Veterans and Cadets

Please muster at 1000hrs on Page Road, BS16 4NE. The Parade Marshal is Mr Bob Perkins and he will form you up and advise on order.

Parking is limited and only those that have registered will be given priority of spaces. If you still need to register, please use this form.

Bikers

 

Please use the above information. When you enter the Park, you will park you bikes next to the RBL riders gazebo, ensuring not to block the pedestrian access to other stalls. Bikers that need to leave the event between the hours of 1200hrs and 1600hrs must walk their bikes out of the Park before starting their engine.

Licenses must be carried and shown if asked to produce them.

Attending the Armed Forces Reception?

Standard Bearers, Serving Personnel, Veterans and Cadets

If you are attending the Armed Forces Reception, you must have registered. Those that have registered will have received an email or phone call from the organising committee.

Entry to the marquee will be via a wristband and these will be available from 1000hrs in the RBL gazebo in the Park. Security will not allow entry without a wristband.
