Thank you
Thousands gathered in Page Park this weekend to celebrate South Gloucestershire Armed Forces Day 2025, coming together in sunshine and high spirits to recognise the service and sacrifice of our Armed Forces.

From the moment gates opened, the park was alive with the sound of music, marching, and community spirit. Visitors enjoyed military displays, cadet parades, live performances, family activities, and a wide variety of food and drink — all in honour of those who serve, past and present.

This year’s event was a wonderful celebration — not just of our Armed Forces, but of the incredible community that surrounds and supports them. We’re proud to have welcomed thousands of people to Page Park, and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.

Events like this take months of planning and the support of many dedicated people. I want to extend a huge thank you to our volunteers, who gave up their time to keep the day running smoothly, and to the cadets, veterans, and serving personnel who helped bring the spirit of the day to life.

We’re also deeply grateful to our sponsors and partners, including the Staple Hill and District Branch of the Royal British Legion, RT Consulting, and South Gloucestershire Council. A special thanks as well to Panik Events for their expert sound, AHM Catering for their delicious food, and the Friends of Page Park for their continued support and knowledge of this much-loved space.

As the final flags were packed away and the music ended, one thing was clear: Armed Forces Day 2025 had brought South Gloucestershire together in celebration, reflection, and gratitude.

Our plans are already underway for next year’s event. and I would love your feedback-what went well, what could be better and what you would like to see next year.
